Hi All

As the person who designed the pack - I'd like to know how you feel about it.  Would you like to answer the following:

1.  Did you like the pack, did it appeal to you ?

2.  Did it communicate the game concept correctly?

3.  Do you like the flap ? - or should we not bother with special boxes ?

4.  Do you prefer a normal plastic case ?

5.  Anything we should be doing for you ?

I look forward to hearing your honest responses !

Thanks

Chris East

Head of Marketing

Hiya Chris -

I love the box, but when I went into "GAME" (the shop) they didn't show it on display, they had a DVD style box with just the game logo on it. There was no screenshots, which I always look for. Especially with something like Vegas which has top notch gfx.

Otherwise a real winner.

The packaging was good and I was impressed with the artwork.  It's a good idea to stick with boxes rather than the DVD style cases as boxes standout more on the shelves and can not be hidden behind other titles.

The flap was good, but could of hidden a nice serect ot two!

Hope this helps

Easy

The pack was a great design, i loved it, and it had some great screenshots. In fact, that's the reason why i bought the game. Here's a few things why it appealed

-It was colourful

-It was in a box with some amazing screenshots on the packaging

-It's Vegas, the most interesting, brightest most amazing place in the world!

-The name suggested it was a strategy game.

I haven't bought the game yet, but I'm getting it at Christmas and I've already seen the packaging. I think it looks alot better then other game's packaging mainly cos it's in a nice box.

I hated it when they started putting all games in those small DVD cases and got rid of nice big boxes. I like the screenshots you've put on there too and the writing kinda looks nice aswell.

I disagree with that. I hate the old, huge boxes, but i like the boxes which are the size of DVD cases. (like the Vegas pack) I still like the DVD cases though, as there small and portable.

It's not the packaging that counts its what the game is like

Ever heard the saying you can't judge a book by it's cover...

Must say tho artwork was excellent

Kindest Regards

lol, artwork was good. It was appealing. The last two games which really looked cool on the shelf and made me pick it up and buy it was Vegas: Make it Big of course and Secret Service, which turned out to be a really tripe game because neither my friends or myself couldn't pass the first level! And the cheats were useless too! At least Vegas: Make it Big wasn't too hard and was a lot more fun!!
