Are you able to change the music within vegas make it big i.e putting in your own mp3s to play in the back ground, i know that a game called " space colony" does it?

is there anyway of changing the scripts so that it can read mp3s or could thier be a patch to include it. I think its rather cool to hear ur own mp3s playin in the back ground.

You should be able to replace the tracks 'as is' - we use FMod for playing back the audio - the music is encoded in .OGG format but you should be able to use .mp3, .wav etc..

All the music for the game is located in
GAME\GAMEDATA\Sound\Music

If you want to keep the theme music tracks but point the game to a different theme track then look at the themes and edit the path to your music track there..

GAME\GAMEDATA\Scripts\THEMES\ThemeInfo

If you want to change the day/night music then you will have to replace those tracks as they are hard-coded into the .exe at the moment
