Yes you do have complete control over the outside layout and in the inside of your casinos. There are plenty of buildings and upgrades available to try out.

On each level you get multiple lots of land which you can buy and theme and even merge together in some cases. There are currently 10 themes to play with.

There's a full sandbox mode with 10 or so levels to muck about with, there are also 10-12 setpiece scenarios (challenges) to complete if you like that sort of thing aswell.
You also get the ability to load and save your casino layouts to save you time if you don't fancy building them from scratch each time. I hope some of these layouts will become available as downloads at some point.

We provide a decor mode for the interiors so you can paint the walls and floors and also lower/raise them, provide stairs for guests etc if you fancy yourself as a budding interior designer.

Finally we've also added a 'walkabout' mode, the premise is very simple but it gives you the ability to explore both the outside world and any casino interiors as if you were a guest. Its something that people have said they wanted on other games (i.e the ability to get up close) so we added it here.

I don't know if you like to get your hands mucky and try and create your own scenarios etc but we've also left the vast majority of the gamedata open so people who want to begin making their own levels/objects and so forth can begin to do that.

regards

Ropes you have just sold me the game... I think I will get myself a copy tonight as that sounds just the ticket, and the sort of game I like.

I was waiting for you to say sandbox in that post, as I dont like the scenario style levels, id rather just have no goals/time limits and just enjoy building.

Is the sandbox mode in this like that? i.e. There are no time limits or goals to reach, and just build in my own time?

Yup thats what its about - in the current sandbox we basically allow you access to every theme and provide 10 maps to play with.

You choose the amount of people you want, the types of people you want, whether you want any events i.e. some weather or other types going off, how much cash you want and what time of day you want to start off. After that its up to you :)

Got v game, very good, no end of features and options.

I highly recommend this game, but am finding it a little hard (im not a great gamer) Ive no problems making profit in casino, but I just can't get people to go into my attractions  ie cinema, dolphin park etc, which is pretty vital for the first proper mission

can you post a screenshot of the lot thats causing the problem?

Also i assume the reputation etc and all the things i posted to your reply on the support thread you've followed to some degree?

It does seem odd that not one person has gone to your lot -

Just to confirm it is King of the Hill you are playing, is that correct?

When I say no-one visits, I mean no where near enough people visit, one the objectives screen the green bar is on ever quarter full.

Shall try to play again tonight, how do I take a screen shot ?

It's a shame you can't save your exterior layouts aswell as your casino layouts !

Thanks for help so far - appreciated

Ok there are a few ways to take a screenshot, we've provided one in-game for your convenience.

At the top left of the screen there is a camera icon, simply click that and it'll take an image and put it into your gamedata/screenshots folder where the game is installed.
This image isn't stored as a a compressed image so it can be quite large. You may need to convert it to a .jpg or compress it down before posting it.

As for the saving of exterior layouts, well you do have a save game option but point noted and if you have ideas / suggestions then post them on the ideas thread and they'll be looked at in due course.

Incidentally which objective is causing the issue for you and which level is it, i assume when its '1st proper level' you mean King of the Hill?

regards
