some bugs I noticed:

1. in a large casino, if you raise the floor to its maximum level (1 step below the ceiling), you cant change the carpet.  No marble floor for the high rollers :(

2.when laying carpet, sometimes a single click will arbitrarily block out a whole section of the floor in a single color, ruining your design.

3. the strip of carpet infront of the entrance cannot be changed

4. raising/lowering floors sometimes resets the wallpaper of the affected area

5.  The new lights reset the carpet beneath them to default.

6. after minimizing the game, switching back resets the mouse so the pointer only select buttons if it is held to the left and above the button.

Hi BG, Bugs duly noted and added to fixlist for future updates.

I can't go through and double-check until monday, in the meantime..

1) The default behaviour for raising / lowering floors means that the user should only be able to raise the floors up until 2 units below the ceiling, raising beyond this point clamps it to the ceiling. Not sure how you manage to get it to 1 step below the ceiling??

2) Yes we're aware of this, on the fixlist for a future update.

3) is actually unimplemented. We were aware of this but nobody said it was a problem - until now of course ;). We don't classify this as a bug but it is on our wishlist of things we'd like to resolve.

5) Which lights are you referring to? Interior or exterior? Does it happen on all lights or just the floor lights?

6) Need to double check this, i recall this being on the buglist but was fixed as far as we were concerned - which res were you running in and what card are using for ref?

regards

Glad to help.

1) i should have been clearer--the carpet bug happens at the highest level you can raise the floor to before it merges with the ceiling.  Thats what I meant by 1 'unit' below.

5) interior-- both of the 'low light' sets do this.  The old globe lights work fine.  As far as outside lights go, i noticed you can place a globe light on top of a floor light.  Not sure if its a bug, hope its not

There is a workaround for the new interior lights, you can can carpet the square beneath them by draggin carpet over them once you have put the light down.

I'll see if we can update the light pack at some point to make the interiors behave exactly like the globe lights.

A scenario bug i found:

In the high rollers scenario (the one after the convention level), when the feuding hollywood couple comes to town, it lists different objectives for the husband:  the wife's entry mentions him and says he wants a 'nice hotel (like his wife),' the husbands entry that appears later is almost exactly the same, but says he wants a 'medium hotel.'  Both exist in the objectives screen at the same time. Which is it?

One for the wife, one for the husband, i believe they both want a medium hotel.

Also, you can have a look at the scripts in the gamedata folder for the guests. If you open up the files, you will see the sort of things they tend to go for.
