Has anyone else had a problem with the downloads on the site - I am talking about the scenery/christmas and lighting packs?

I have the correct, patched version and I have finished the game on my desktop without ever encountering any technical problems (my laptop was a different matter!).

I downloaded and installed the mentioned bits and was very excited to see them in the game, and they seem to work fine until you delete one ... I get the following error message ... <file 'GameData\Scripts\UI\Panels\General\AskYesNo.lua':line36> or other similar stuff, or even just a plain old freeze. Then I have to restart the computer as I can't even get back to windows. I tried it with a couple of diferent things until I got bored crashing my PC. It only happens when you try and delete one of the new items both in Sandbox and Campaign.

My system is an Athlon Barton 2500, 512 Mb 3200 ddr ram, 80 GB Seagate Baracudda and a GeForce3 Ti200 (soon to be Ati 9800xt!!) running on XP Pro. All my drivers are uptodate and the only thing I have changed on the system was downloading those files - other games are fine.

It appears the patch hasn't applied itself correctly to your version. I assume you are using a UK version of the game?

That error with the AskYesNo.lua is what is fixed with the 1.11 patch. This fix was missing from the 1.1 update.
We did try these updates on a clean system and we did indeed try to sell the objects with no problems.

i will look into this more on monday - i'll need you to send me one of the gamescripts. I am 99.9% sure your game hasn't been updated for some reason or somehow you have the 1.1 on your system and the 1.11 hasn't correctly installed over it.

When you fire up the launcher, what version is show at the bottom of the dialog?

Hi again Ichor, ok i just did a complete fresh install on my home system here with all downloads/updates off this official website and no problems at all.

I can only suspect as before for some reason the patch hasn't updated correctly on your system.

Did you install the game to anywhere other than the default location specified? Just trying to speculate why you're getting this problem..

I thought I had the right patch but may have installed the 1.1 again by mistake as I keep all my game patches in their zip files in a spare folder in case I uninstall the game and want to reinstall it and when I just checked it's the older one I have left on my pc and I thought I had swapped it for v1.11.
