Adding multiplayer to this game excellent, extend it's playing lifetime. Perhaps until Vegas 2.0 comes out with bags of new features, gfx and fun.

With such a great game it'd be a waste not to enhance the engine, add new stuff and generally produce a second version.

But for now, how's about a multiplayer expansion..... what are your thoughts...

It's a great idea, if we do get the chance to enhance the game further, it'll be right at the top of things we'd like to add.

regards

Vegas: Make it Big 2.

hmmm , that would be way cool!

and multiplayer...

maybe in America. I don't think enough people have broadband here. (Good topic idea?) I have broadband playin online games is totally awesome. In my 'good' section of games on my shelf at home, Vegas is on it as well as Global Ops, which cost me a fiver, and was the best online shooter I've ever bought. Playin online is a great experience!

I only just got broadband last week.

Wow, if they made a Vegas: Make it Big 2 I don't know how they could improve the game...the graphics are amazing...gameplay is superb...I suppose multiplayer would be good, but it's always hard to put multiplayer into a tycoon-building game like Vegas. You could have two or three players on a plot I suppose but then what if one of them just left after you'd spent hours doing your resort...you'd get pretty cheesed off.

We'd probably implement something along the lines of what we did in Monopoly Tycoon, with a few tweaks of course.

well,

multiplayer would be nice to measure your skills agains opponents

but actualy during the game the interaction is only very small
competition would only be in the numbers of visitors etc... not realy exciting

unless some 'war'-elements are added (sabotage rolercoaster) in version 2
but that would change the game too much

or maybe i forgot it can be realy exciting who is first to buy certain/all lots...

well anyway there are for sure possibilities to go multiplayer
go for it!

Got broadband? Tried any online games yet? Playin online is way cool! Totally amazing. Ever played Global Operations or anything online. I bought that game for a fiver and I play it all the time. It's sweet playin online, because it isn't just stupid Computer robot players, it's real players!

You have to try playin online games, it's sweet!

As for Make it Big, Make it Multiplayer (!), there could always be a mode for 56k modems too. Slower and unreliable, but cool. That's if Vega$: Make it Big ever becomes online!

Oh well, we can always dream...

I haven't played any online-shooters yet...but I've played Rise of Nations and Medieval: Total War, which is brilliant online with the huge battles.
