I am a massive fan of these types of games and thought beach life was fantastic, i spent hours playing and didnt take too long in finishing the game. So when I saw this game i couldnt wait to get it home and get started. I am struggling a little on the second level after the tutorial. I know I am still at the beginning. I have re started it again and again but i am not getting anywhere. I think the gameplay is great and I really want to get into it but I am stuck, Can anybody help please!!!

Are you talking about 'Top of the Heaps' level? It took me ages to do this level too, but I got it by first buying the smaller cheaper lot, I built a small casino with 3 tables, progressive slots, a couple of other slot machines, a buffet and bar. Remember to set all the Bet Ranges and put the House Edge up. I put the Bet Range down low as there wasn't too many rich people about. Then, I built a small hotel which is good for profit. I realised that loads of slot lady's and other women were attracted to my lot, so built a Hair Parlour, a Health Spa and the Entertainment buildings. I bought the Theater entertainment building which done the job. You can't win by doing all this and not putting in decorative items too. I put in loads of lights, trees and statues with my remaining money and profit, and if you have the money, it is good to build toilets in your casino and on your lot.

Hope that helps

which level do you mean? the 2nd one or the 3rd one? If it's the 3rd do what beavious said, if it's the 2nd one then just build a small casino with tables and make sure you put the bet ranges up. That brings in the cash....the rest is easy.

Ok,

dont know if this is the right forum to post in, but I am glad to see someone else is struggling with the same (seemingly early) level.  (Top of the Heap)  I too, have spent hundreds of hours playing video game, so it pains me to say I am stuck this early. Anyway, I buy the smaller lot, and build a small hotel and a small casino. (i have tried the medium casino, but i run out of $ too quick) I put in a cleaner closet (and hire 3 cleaners - people are pigs), cashier and pit boss. I build several different tables, progressive slots, sports book and the 'square slots'. I set each table / machine to a different range. I even put a sign or two on my lot.

Home boy competetor opens his frigging huge casino. Its got escalators, its got foot massagers, its got different levels. Then he goes from $ -38,000 to + $4,000 in like 2 days. Here i am puttering along, almost to the break even point when the scenario ends. Joe basketball player sniffed around my casino but never came in. I assume satisfying him would give me 3k.

Im not sure what I am doing wrong, but it doesn't seem like I am even close to catching daddy big bucks.

Yike.

The casino that I built to pass it had three tables only. Blackjack, Pai-Gow and the Texan Whale one. They made the most profit. Put the house range up and change te bet ranges to suit. I built a Progressive Slots too with low bet ranges and high house thing too. I put in 2 or 3 slot machines too. A buffet and bar and toilets too will make loads of money, and you also need loads of decorative stuff.

Outside, build a Health Spa. It is used by Slot Lady's and loads of women and is a good activity for Joe Basketball or whatever he's called. Build some shops for women too, I think women use them most. For Entertainment, build a Theater. And remember to have loads of trees and statues and stuff. That's how I passed it.

If you still can't pass it, just keep trying. That's what I did and I finally did it.

Just build a small casino straight away and make it as good as you can afford. Fill it with slots but most importantly tables, and make sure you put the bet range up on the tables. When I did that it worked for me and I won in about 2/3 days.

Ok,

I finally got past top of the heap.  Thanks to all.

What happens after some period of time, that my buildings don't make any money.  They start off fine, but the longer time goes on there is a steady decline.   I am now on the next level, which I can get past most of it.  But once I get to '300 sales a day', my buildings are hemoragging money.  I put in electricity and water which seemed to help a little.  People are just not participating.  Reputation is green on all buildings.

Knock them down and rebuild?  $.50 on the dollar...

On that one, I had trouble to get 300 a day, but with the profit I was getting from my bigger first lot, I stuck in loads of signs, statues, trees and lights and loads of buildings to attract people to the second lot. Try changing some of the bet ranges and house edges to cope with richer/poorer people that are coming to your lot.

Hi ST - may sound like a silly question, but do you have Mech Huts? Have the buildings broken down? If they have, people will not vsit them.
