I noticed that you didn't mention Restrooms - was that an oversight in your description, or did you not place any? If you don't have any on your lot, anyone who needs to heed the call of nature will have to leave your lot to find one that will satisfy them! They may be small and smelly, but they're most necessary.

I'd place a Souvenir Shop as well - it appears you are not satisfying anyones need for basic retail.

Last possible point - do you have repair guys at hand (inside and out of your casino)? If not, that would explain why people are vacating your lot. Massive spanners balanced on the roofs of your buildings is not good, as I'm sure you're aware!!!

I just completed this last night, and only realised towards the end that I had no restrooms whatsoever! People who visit my casino need strong bladders, I can tell ye!

I bought the 2 smaller lots straight off. Built 2 hotels, small and medium and a small casino. My casino was only geared towards rich types, but kept me in the cash. Also bought the Live Music Venue and upgraded straight away. Then I just slowly built up my services, entertainment and shops. I would definitely advise buying a carpark and a business centre.

Was overflowin with cash and about 1500 sales ahead by the end.

Also of note - each time you play a scenario, there maybe a variation in the mixture of people coming into the world based on certain probabilities.

As you may/may not be aware there maybe the occasional influx of certain types of guest as different times, such as the kiddies and clearly having high-roller suites+gambling may not be the right thing to have at that stage especially if cash is tight.

You may need to tailor your lot to cater for that demand or somehow work your way through without taking too much of a hit if you can't.

Just keep an eye on the sorts of guests appearing by looking in the world view and checking out the numbers of each group and where they are in the world.

Thanks for all the help, I finally passed this one. I decided to forego a casino and built a large hotel, large sign, carpark, clothing stores, restrooms, and the music venue to start in the small lot. After I got enough $ I bought the next lot, and put up all the shops and entertainment venues I could, and I blew the compeition away, ending before day 5 was over. I beat the next computer player by over 2500 sales, and it would have been much more but for late in day 4 my lot went from a positive rep to negative rep.

Did you never build a casino? It's always one of the first things I build as it always brings in the most money - I may have a go and not build a casino to see how it works in the level I am doing at the moment (All Shook Up).
