Is there even automatic maintenance? During my gameplay, I haven't noticed any

It would be fine, but say, I have a small casino, with about 16 slot machines that are almost always full. Clicking on each, then selecting maintenance (call cashier) gets tiring after some time, and if I wouldn't do that, they'd break down. Cleaners do have an automatic routine, but I didn't notice that mechanics, electricians or cashiers do.

If auto-maintenance is indeed possible, I would be grateful to hear the conditions for it. Otherwise, that goes straight to top of 'features to-do in patch' list. I'd imagine that the existing cleaner's AI routine can be adapted with little work to all other staff, just replacing 'litter' with the repairable object types :)

Yes all people that repair things , cashiers assitance etc have automatic maintenance. Simply clicking the 'call mechanic' button will only push that item onto the next thing needed to be repaired / call the next available mechanic over. So therefore you shouldn't have to do anything assuming you have enough of them.

I assume your cashiers assistant could get to the slot machines?

regards

Just to add further information, they will only come when the machine hits 0% health and a spanner appears over the object. At this point the nearest avaiable handyman/woman will come over and repair the item (assuming they can reach this object). If there isn't one available they are placed in a queue for repairing.
The handymen/women also stand and wait on the spot until a task is assigned to them, the cleaners differ in that they scan an area over time and then clean what they can, after that they'll wander a bit and then check the new area and repeat.

You shouldn't have to do much micromanagement at all.

Just for the record, one fix that is going in the update is the balancing of rubbish distribution. We feel there is a little too much, it may get a little overwhelming in a large casino even with lots of cleaners.

regards

The rubbish is quite overwhelming at times, but if you have enough bins placed in the casino, 3 cleaners should do a pretty good job. If you are finding areas with alot of rubbish, place a couple of bins in that area. Most customers will use the bin.

I have a medium sized casino with three efficient cleaners (i see no point in having a charismatic cleaner!) There is barely any rubbish and lots of customers with little green bins above their heads!

I have to admit, I have not checked the pong factor of the bins. I will do so tonight. I would think there must be a countermeasure, like a nice plant or bush next to the bin?

If not, maybe the patch could introduce an air fresheners/air conditioning upgrade?

Just a question: can this 0% percent be changed to a value of about 20-30%, as to prevent machine breakdown/downtime that would be caused.
