Firstly, Good day from the states. I have to say that, after stumbleing across this demo (Thank you Penny_Arcade) I am absolutely FLOORED. This is a truly amazeing step for Tycoon style games. GREAT job. Now I just have one complaint. We here in the states get THOUSANDS of crappy games EVERY year before anyone else. The one that I REALLY want, however, may not even MAKE it here. NO ONE has even HEARD of this game around here. You SURE its comin out here Ropes?
Anyway, This Demo is VERY good, though you could throw us poor Americans across the pond a bone by giving us alittle bigger map to play with in the demo....Just a thought:)

M/10, I know how you feel. No gaming stores/websites have heard of it and none have it on their "comming soon" list. I just ended up buying the Euopean version off of a UK website. A little more than I would have spent on the game here in the states, but I figured it was worth it. I ordered it monday but I am not sure when it might get here (they said 4-6 business days). I am hoping for the end of next week. Guess I will see..

Which Site, If I may ask. I been looking for it, but most of the sites I found won't deliver here to the states.
Not like it matters, My wife nixed me buying anything till Christmas, so I have ta wait anyway....Oh Well, back to my demo request for bigger plots.......

Hi guys, yep frustrated as you are about how its going, long story but the information that i currently have is:
For the US:
1) It will be called Vega$ Tycoon
2) It'll be released in specialist stores around Dec 15th
(i'm still not sure on this but this is what i've been told)
3) It'll be released nationwide,walmart etc 1st 2 weeks in January.
As for the demo, we can't really provide this extra map stuff right now. I'll have a chat and see if we can do an update demo at some point but no promises on this - besides by the time it comes out, the US version should be out

Ya know, I REALLY wasn't expecting a demo update (I am currently running an Indie Programming company myself and can see why managment would be alittle put off by this idea:) I was just throwing it out there:)
And Quantu5, I appritiate the info, but unfortunatly I have to wait till christmas anyway to get it so (Sigh) I guess I make do with the SMALL PATCH OF LAND in the demo;)

I'm in the US, and also ordered the game from www.game.uk.com. I ordered the game Sunday evening, and received it in the mail today. Looking forward to playing it this weekend! I did play the demo, and want to congratulate the developers on creating a fun game. :)

I wanted to ask Quantus and Fuedal 1 a quick question. I tried to order from game.uk.com and it wouldn't except my "postcode" i.e. zip code I presume. Did either of you encounter that problem? It won't accept my order. I have an e-mail in to them, was wondering if either of you could advise me on what to do.

Hi SugarCube.
I didn't encounter any problems entering my post code. But, you do have to make sure you select the correct delivery service "(Royal Mail - Rest of the World)". I'd be willing to bet you didn't change it from it's default of "UK Standard Mail", which would cause a problem when you enter an American zip code.
Let me know how it goes, and if this fixes your problem. Good luck, and hope you get the game soon.
